• Elected Member of Parliament for Maseru Constituency No. 32 under Lesotho Congress for Democracy (2002)
• Appointed Assistant Minister of Finance and Development Planning (2002-2004)
• Appointed Minister of Public Works and Transport (November 2004-February 2007) 
• Appointed Minister of Trade and Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing (February 2007 to present)
• Founder member of the Student Liberation Front at NUL, a student movement whose ideology was focused on the liberation of Basotho and restoration of democracy to Lesotho
• Elected member of the student Representative Council at NUL in 1979-1980.
• Became involved in Lesotho’s national party politics when democracy was restored to the country in 1993, serving in party sub-branch, branch and constituency committees
• Lecturer at Lesotho Agricultural College (LAC)
• Appointed to various senior management positions at Maluti Mountain Brewery in Lesotho
• Assistant to the Chief Executive at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) in Lesotho
