• Joined the Basutholand Congress Party (BCP) in 1963
• Elected to the National Assembly representing the Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) at Tsikoane Constituency No. 14 (2002)
• Re-elected to the National Assembly for the same constituency in February 2007
• Appointed Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing since November 2004 to date
• Appointed as member of Public Accounts Committee (PAC)
• Represented PAC with other members and the Parliament of Lesotho in SADCOPAC Annual General Meeting in Tanzania in June 2004
