• In 1961 he was in Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem and from 1968 to 1969 he did his internship at Kitwe Hospital in Zambia

• Elected Member of Parliament for Lithabaneng Constituency No. 35 representing the Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) (2002)
• Appointed Minister of Health and Social Welfare (2002-February 2007)
• Appointed as Senator after the 2007 general elections

• Before enrolling with Hadassah medical, he worked for the Ministry of Health as Health Assistant (1959-1961)
• Became Senior Houseman while doing his internship at Kitwe Hospital, Zambia (1969-1970)
• Medical doctor in the Ministry of Health (1970-1974)
• Joined private practice (1974-2002)
• Former member of the Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council
