THIS YEAR JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT SUCCESSFUL.

 At least 74 children took part in a two-day Kokobela Junior Tennis Tournament (KJTT) that was organised by the Lesotho Lawn Tennis Association (LLTA).

The LTTA say, the purpose of the Tournament was to promote tennis as a sport among children.  Players were involved in categories of boys and girls of under the age:  10,  12,  14 and  16.

This year had a more successful Tournament in comparison to that of last year, where only about 50 children participated.

The Tournament was sponsored by Mr. Kokobela Lieta,  - one long-time and dedicated tennis player in Lesotho - with M1100.00.  This money will be used to purchase equipment such as rackets and uniform, for use by tennis players.  Last year, the KJTT was sponsored with M1000.00.

 This was a two-day Tournament, ending 25 February – venue: Lesotho National Courts in Maseru.
