TENDER NOTICE – INVITATION FOR QOUTATIONS
THE DEPARTMENT OF LENA
OF THE
MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
INVITES LOCALLY ELIGIBLE COMPANIES TO SUBMIT THEIR
QUOTATIONS F0R THE EXTENSION OF LENA OFFICE IN MOKHOTLONG
AND FENCING OF THE SITE
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
1. Extension of this office will include;
-
Tea room
-
Toilet
-
A news room
2. Fencing has to be Devilfork and must include sliding gate
3. Drawings of (1) above must also be included on submission
4. Companies must attend a compulsory site visit/inspection
on 12/02/2010 at 10:00am in Mokhotlong. Quotations from the
Companies which have attended the inspection will be
considered.
SUBMISSION
5. All companies are expected to deposit their original
quotations in the tender box situated at The Ministry of
Communications, Science and Technology, 3rd Floor Moposo
House not later than 19th February 2010 on or before 12hrs.
6. Quotations will be opened in the presence of the
representatives of the companies same day at 14:30hrs
7. Qoutations bearing no identification of the names of
companies must be in sealed form and clearly marked
‘Quotation for the Extension of LENA OFFICE in Mokhotlong
and Fencing”
8. Eligible companies are therefore advised that
suppliers to Government of Lesotho are expected to be in
compliance with their tax obligations and should be
registered with IFMIS. Certified copies of income tax/ sales
tax and trading licenses certificates must be attached to
the quotation.
9. The Tender Panel reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender.
10. It must be noted that preference will be given to
Basotho Owned Businesses and to Businesses with the majority
shares held by Lesotho Citizens.
