WHO DIRECTOR
ON OFFICIAL VISIT IN LESOTHO |
The World
Health Organisation Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Luis
Gomes Sambo will be on a three-day official visit to Lesotho
from Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health and
Social Welfare, Dr Sambo will discuss main challenges and
needs in the health sector in the country and also
strengthen cooperation between WHO and Lesotho.
On arrival, Dr Sambo will pay a courtesy call to the Prime
Minister, Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili, Minister of Health and
Social Welfare, Dr Mphu Ramatlapeng and health partners in
Lesotho.
He will conduct site visits at Domiciliary Clinic, Scott
hospital, and Mafeteng government hospital before he
departs.
