Their Majesties King Letsie III and Queen 'Masenate Mohato Seeiso toured different stalls and viewed a variety of agricultural products displayed by farmers and manufacturers at the 2008 National Agricultural Show at Ha Foso on Thursday.

Their Majesties were accompanied by among others, the Deputy Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Representatives of the Diplomatic Corps in Lesotho, and other senior government officials.

During the tour His Majesty commended farmers and manufacturers for bringing their products at the show.

Farmers had exhibited products such as vegetables, cereals and food stuffs, while manufacturers displayed clothes, and products made up of medal and leather.

The purpose of the show which is held annually is to give farmers countrywide an opportunity to compete with their products as well as to share ideas on how best to improve farming for household food security in the country.

At the end of the show participants with outstanding products will be awarded prizes as motivation.
