Phela Health and Development Communications, will start producing its own programmes which are influenced by Lesotho situation beginning March this year.

Phela has been adapting materials from Soul City to produce its programmes on health and development in Lesotho since its establishment in 2002.

Soul City is a South African based organisation which has partnership with eight countries in the SADC region to help them disseminate information on health issues.

Marketing and Advocay manager of Phela, Miss Bolele Monyau said the materials will be played on Radio Lesotho and TV Lesotho. Miss Monyau pointed out that Phela will also introduce its second series in March which will focus in teaching people about care and support of people infected with HIV.

Phela is a non governmental organisation aimed to disseminate information on Health and development issues by making use of the media.
