INVESTIGATE SHOOTINGS AT MINISTER METSING’S AND MR.
THABANE'S HOMES |

Police Service (LMPS) is continuing with investigations in
connection with the shooting which occurred at the
Communications Minister, Mr. Mothetjoa Metsing's, residence
at Maseru West on Thursday night.
The police spokesperson, Mr. Pheello Mphana said the police
found four empty shells of a 5.56 millimeter firearm, and
one shell was found inside the house, while other three were
found outside the house.
Inspector Mphana appealed to the public to provide the
police with information that could lead to the arrest of
perpetrators.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mphana added that the police are also
investigating incidence of shooting, which occurred at the
leader of All Basotho Convention party, Mr. Motsoahae
Thabane's home at Ha Abia on the same night.
He said about 27 empty shells of AK47 and 32 empty shells of
5.56 mm were found at Mr. Thabane's home, where his house
and vehicle have been badly damaged.
Inspector Mphana however, stated that there are no reports
of people injured in both incidents and no arrest have been
made yet.
