PM LEAVES FOR
CHOGM IN UGANDA |
The Prime
Minister, Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili and his delegation left the
country on Thursday to attend a three day Commonwealth Heads
of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Uganda, starting from
Friday.
The Prime Minister will be among the 183 heads of
governments from all commonwealth countries.
The theme for this year's meeting that is held after every
two years is 'Transforming Commonwealth Societies, Changing
Lives'.
The purpose of the meeting provides a forum for heads of
governments to discuss commonwealth issues and agree on
collective initiatives and policies.
The meeting is preceded by the Youth, Business and Peoples
Forum and the Foreign Ministers meeting.
Lesotho delegation comprises the First Lady, Mrs. 'Mathato
Mosisili, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohlabi Tsekoa,
Government Secretary, Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane and the
Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr.
Tebello Metsing.
The Prime Minister and his delegation will return home on
Monday next week
