HIS MAJESTY
LEAVES FOR CUBA |
His Majesty
King Letsie III left the country on a state visit to Cuba on
Thursday.
His Majesty's entourage includes Foreign Affairs Minister,
Mr. Mohlabi Tsekoa, Deputy Speaker Mr. Sephiri Motanyane,
Principal Chief of Leribe Chief Joel Molapo as well as other
senior government officials.
His Majesty King Letsie III has been invited by the Acting
President of Cuba, Mr. Ral Castro with the objective of
strengthening existing cordial bilateral relations between
the two countries.
The Ministers of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation,
Mrs. 'Mathabiso Lepono and of Health and Social Welfare, Dr
Mphu Ramatlapeng will join His Majesty's delegation on
Sunday.
His Majesty's entourage is expected back home on October 28.
This is the first time Lesotho's Head of State visit Cuba,
except the Prime Minister, Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili, who has
visited the country on several occasions.
