In our article
dated 20th November 2007 under the heading “Gender Violence
– Responsibility for all – Gender Minister”, there was a
typographic error in the second paragraph where it is
wrongly stated that the Honourable Minister of Gender,
Youth, Sports and Recreation was addressing the press on the
sixteen (16) days of Activism against Gender campaign. The
correct statement is that the Honourable Minister was
addressing the press on sixteen (16) days of Activism
against Gender Violence. We regret the error and apologise
to the Honourable Minister and all parties affected by the
error.
Furthermore we have also been informed by the relevant
authority that it is not correct that the Principal
Secretary for the Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports and
Recreation will lead the Lesotho Delegation to the World Cup
Draw as stated in our article dated 20th November 2007. We
have been informed that the true state of affairs is that
the World Cup Draw is a FIFA Event and delegations to such
events are led by national football associations hence in
our case the delegation will be led by Lesotho Football
Association (LEFA). In the same article, it is further
wrongly stated that the Lesotho Delegation will comprise of,
among other delegates, consultants from the United States of
America. We once again regret the mistakes and apologise to
the Principal Secretary, LEFA and all parties affected by
the mistakes.
