APPEAL COURT
TO HOLD SECOND SESSION |
Second session of
the Court of Appeal will be held from Tuesday of October 09
to October 25.
According to the Court of Appeal circular, the sitting of
the second session will deal with nine civil appeal cases
and four criminal appeal cases.
The criminal appeal cases include appeals in which some
people appeal against their conviction and sentence by the
high court on murder cases.
The session will also deal with three civil appeals, which
will be struck off the roll, while one civil appeal will be
withdrawn.
The forth coming session follows the first session, which
was held in April this year.
The Court of Appeal has two sessions per annum, except when
there is an urgent appeal case, which has to be decided
without waiting for the normal sitting of the court.
