May 24 - The World Vision Lesotho has presented clothing to three
orphanage homes, namely Beautiful Gate, Lesotho child Counseling Unit and
the Salvation Army, on Tuesday.
In an interview, the World Vision Communication Coordinator, Mrs Makopano
Letsatsi mentioned that the donation is done as part of the candle light day
that is commemorated annually on the third Sunday of May with the aim of
honouring the memory of those who lost their lives due to HIV/AIDS and
support those living with the virus.
She pointed out that the purpose of the donations is to promote awareness to
the needy, vulnerable and neglected children that there are people out there
who care for them. The clothes included jerseys and duvet sets
The World Vision is a child focus organisation that was
established to transform development with the purpose of developing and
benefiting a child, and it also supports organisations that caters for the
vulnerable, needy and orphans in the country. |
