SPORTS MINISTER RECIEVES SOCCER KIT
	Maseru June 06 - The Excel Petroleum Lesotho, Managing Director Mr. Selai Mokete presented soccer kit worth M8, 000 to the Minister of Gender, Youth and Sports at the occasion held at the Ministry's premises on Tuesday. The kit comprised of ten footballs, jersey, shoes and a floating trophy. Presenting the kit, Mr. Mokete said the equipment is intended to launch the Minister's cup for soccer teams in the Mafeteng district. He said that his company intends to support and promote soccer in the country as soccer is one of the most interesting sports in many nations. Meanwhile, the Minister of Gender, Youth and Sports Mrs. 'Mathabiso Lepono handed over the equipment to the Chairperson of Naughty Boys Football Club (FC) of Ha Ramohapi in the Mafeteng district. Speaking during the handing over ceremony, Mrs. Lepono hailed Excel Petroleum Lesotho for the donation and support it provides to improve the standard of sports in the country. She therefore urged beneficiaries (players) to use the equipment accordingly and organise competitions with other teams in the district for promotion of sports in the district. Receiving the donation, the Chairperson of Naughty Boys FC Elias Mats'ooa conveyed his gratitude to the donor and the Minister for the equipment and promised that they will train hard and promote soccer in the district. A similar cup was launched in Mokhotlong in January this year.
