A woman and her two children have appeared before the Maseru Magistrate’s Court for assaulting her husband. The woman and her son were found guilty and  sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. The girl was released because of her age. 

Presiding magistrate, Mr Rabuka Chalatsi imposed the one year or M1 500 fine on 'M'awhite Ramokhobo and her son White Ramokhobo assaulted Tšoanelo Ramokhobo, at Sea Point, in Maseru on December 11, last year. 'M'aleeto Ramokhobo,

Magistrate, Mr. Chalatsi told the woman and her children they should have resorted to peaceful means to resolve the family's dispute.

Third accused, 'M'aleeto, was discharged as the court felt she was still too young and also a scholar. She was however warned to avoid involving herself in matters that did not concern her, but were between her parents.
