MIN. LEPONO PRESENTS KOPO WITH A M15 000 CHEQUE
	The Minister of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation, Mrs Lepono presented the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) and national boxer Warrant Officer Moses Kopo with a cheque worth M15 000 for bringing home a silver medals from the Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne in March this year. Kopo was handed the cheque on Wednesday during a farewell ceremony to the 81-member delegation going to represent Lesotho in the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) Zone Six Youth championships to be hosted in Windhoek, Namibia starting on Monday to July 05. In an interview, Warrant Officer Kopo said the award was a challenge for him to work even harder. He said he was going to use part of the money for demonstrations of young boxers during the Army Day celebration on July 01 this year. The LDF member said he was recovering well from the injury he sustained while in Melbourne and pledged to return to action sooner than it had been anticipated. LENA
