METOLONG COMMUNITY URGED TO TAKE PART IN DECISION-MAKING
	-- Community participation in decision-making concerning big developmental projects such as the construction of the Metolong dam is essential for sustainability of the project. This was said by the Transformation Resources Center's Community Trainer Mr Mabusetsa Lenka, at a public gathering held at Metolong. He mentioned that community's contribution towards the construction of the Metolong dam will grant them a sense of ownership and providing protection to the project. Mr Lenka further explained water is abundance in Lesotho, yet a large number of households still do not have enough water for domestic and irrigation purposes. He therefore urged the Metolong community to work together on issues that affect them so that they can achieve their expected goals.
