The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) has announced that a member of its executive committee has died.  The late David Adoro Mphana died on December 30 2005. 

Members of the local sports fraternity including the Minister of Gender and Youth, Sport and Recreation, Mrs. ‘Mathabiso Lepono, government representatives, sport administrators, and athletes are expected to attend a memorial service in his honour on Wednesday 11^th January at the Bambatha Sport Arena. The memorial service starts at 4:00 p.m.  

In his last assignment last December Mr. Mphana represented the Lesotho National Olympic Committee in the organization of the Vision 2020 games, according to LNOC Public Relations officer Manyathela Kheleli. 

The late David Mphana will be buried at Ha Matšaba, Likhoele in the Mafeteng district on January 14.  

Mr. Mphana, 60, is survived by his wife, five children and three grandchildren.
