Mohale's Hoek Goal Project Still On

Free “airspace” is to cost  the Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) M150 000 as it tries to get the Lesotho Electricity Corporation (LEC) to divert power lines from over a planned sports centre to be built at the Mohale's Hoek race course.

A football ground under the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Goal Project has not been able to take off as the electricity utility’s power lines run across its planned space, making it unsafe.

LEC Managing Director Mr. Cosmas Gutu and the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation Mr. Makalo Theko agreed to the diversion at a meeting on January 5.
