MDTP TO HOLD SECURITY STRATEGY W\SHOP
   - The  Maluti-Drakensburg Transfontier Project (MDTP) will hold a two-day National Input into the Maloti Drakensburg Area Security Strategy workshop to be held at the Likileng Lodge from April 19.

The MDTP Community Facilitator, Mr. Tlali Mosola said the objective of the workshop is to seek ratification of issues that threaten security within Maloti-Drakensburg area.

Mr. Mosola said the workshop will also discuss a draft of security issues that have been raised following the consultations held before.

He said the information will help to facilitate development of joint MDTP security strategy with Republic of South Africa for the Maloti Drakensburg region.

Mr. Mosola said the process of information collection will include the building of a consensus on the issues to enhance Lesotho's capacity to engage in the process of formulating the Security strategy.

MDTP has held several workshops for different groups of stakeholders with the objective of finding different views on the development of areas that fall within the Maloti Drakensburg.
