Lesotho has been paired with Nigeria in Group Three of the 2008 African Cup of Nations tournament. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) draw was announced recently. 

The preliminary stages of the Games, to be hosted by Ghana, will start on September 1 – 3 this year and the final round be played a year later.  

A lot of upsets and surprises seem to be in the offing as speculation already gives some countries half a chance presumably because they are paired with giants such as Ivory Coast, Egypt , Nigeria and Tunisia. 

Neighbours Botswana are paired with “five time continental kings” Egypt, Mauritania and Burundi. Bafana Bafana, the national South African side is in Group K with Congo, Chad and Zambia. Swaziland are in Group F with Angola, Kenya and Eritrea.
