LIKATE IS
LESOTHO'S AMBASSADOR TO JAPAN |
Maseru, Oct.
12 (LENA)--- King Letsie III has commissioned Mr Mokhele
Likate as a new ambassador of Lesotho to Japan at an
occasion held at the Royal Palace on Thursday.
Commissioning the new ambassador, the King said he is
confident that Mr Likate will be able to discharge his
mission and to prove his self-worthiness in his duty.
He expressed hope that the new ambassador will further
strengthen the cooperation and mutual understanding
that exists between Lesotho and Japan.
The King
indicated that he must serve the people of Lesotho with
loyalty and dignity and wished him success in his endeavors.
Mr Likate said he is prepared to work with dedication and
devotion in his duties as a way to sustain the long term
relationship and friendship that exists between the two
countries.
He applauded the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Monyane
Moleleki for the support he has always given him and
expressed hope that the support will be continued at all
times.
Mr Likate formerly worked as Independent Electoral
Commissioner of Lesotho before he was appointed as a
new ambassador of Lesotho to Japan.
