Lesotho Manages win Against Zimbabwe in Sasol Tournament

Lesotho Under 23 soccer team managed fifth position in the Sasol Under 23 Eight Nation Tournament after it beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in the last play offs in the games at Orlando Stadium on January 15.

Though the locals conceded a goal first going into halftime, they made a remarkable comeback when Motlatsi Rantja equalised following a scramble in the box.

Following several attempts to get a winner, the locals' attempts eventually paid off when Bokang 'Lefty' Mothoana got a goal in the dying minutes of the match.

The country will most likely build their team for the forth coming All Africa
Games as well as 2008 Olympic qualifying games from the Sasol Eight Nations.

China, the only country from outside the continent, were eventual overall winners of the tournament and were crowned champions after beating the hosts South Africa 3-1 in the final.
