The Leribe Basotho Horticultural Farmers Association (LEBAHOFA) will soon open a fruit and vegetable supermarket in Hlotse. Farmers in the area hope that they can start selling their produce by next month. Department of Agriculture and Food Security has already offered the farmers association a building for the supermarket, said LEBAHOFA chaiperson Phamola Nts'ekhe.

Leribe District Agricultural Officer Mr. Tlali Lekhele said the department had offered the building because LEBAHOFA was a dynamic association committed to food security and poverty reduction.

 LEBAHOFA was established in 2001. It has 44 active members.
