LEFA ATTENDS FIFA CONFERENCE IN GERMANY
  Maseru, May 31 - Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) President Advocate Salemane Phafane will lead a three member delegation to the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Conference on June 07 which will precede the 2006 soccer World Cup in Germany which kicks off on June 09 to July 09 this year.

The delegation leaves this Sunday for Berlin, Germany and will be back on June 14.

In an interview, LEFA Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kholoang Mokalanyane told LENA that the trio will also attend the Confederation of African Football (CAF) conference the following day at the same venue as well as the 2006 soccer World Cup official opening on June 09.

He pointed out that at the both conferences discussions will be based on previous activities and financial reports, adopting new rules and regulations of the game and the way forward as well as announcing projects to be undertaken in the next four years aimed at promoting the sport.

Besides the president, Lesotho delegation is made up of 2nd Vice-President Ms. Lintle Phasumane and an executive member Ms. Leomile Thamae.
