LRA Gets New Commissioner
 

The Lesotho Revenue Authority has a new Commissioner General Minister following the death of Mr. Kevin Donovan, the first Commissioner General of LRA in August 2005. He is Dr. Charles Thomas Jenkins. 

Announcing the appointment, the LRA said the search for a replacement began in September 2005 and short-listing of candidates was completed by the LRA Board in December, 2005 and over 9-10 January, 2006 interviews were conducted. 

Dr Jenkins is said to have helped in the establishment of the Zambian and Uganda Revenue Authorities. He has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.   

The new Commissioner General starts work on 1st March, 2006 on a three year term of office.
