LENEPWHA CELEBRATES 1ST ANNIVESARY
	The Lesotho Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (LENEPWHA) will on August 3 celebrate its first anniversary at a function to be held at Lesotho Sun hotel. In and interview with LENA, The Management and Organizational Development Advisor for LENEPWHA, Mr Teboho Mohlabi said LENEPWHA was established in May 2005, as a non profit making association that promotes unity among its members while at the same time striving for greater involvement of people living with HIV/AIDS in Lesotho. He said since its establishment, LENEPWHA has managed to secure funds from the Global Fund and those funds have helped them establish eco-gardens, and empowering people with HIV/AIDS. He mentioned that LENEPWHA ensures that people living with HIV/AIDS enjoy equal rights, opportunities and societal responsibilities against stigma and discrimination. Mr. Mohlabi mentioned that LENEPWHA celebrates its anniversary on the day when its strategic plan will be launched.
