CONSTRUCTION OF HLOTSE URBAN ROAD TO RESUME
  The District Administrator for Leribe, Mr. Mothooasebaka Lehloenya says that the potholes and dilapidation on Hlotse roads, will soon become a history as the process of road design, which was abruptly halted in February this year, is expected to resume next month.

He said Mafube Consulting Engineers which has won the tender to design and supervise construction of 23 roads networking the town will meet all the stakeholders on Thursday.

The stakeholders, according to Mr Lehloenya include the Linare Community Council, the Land Survey and Physical Planning officers, WASA, Telecom Lesotho and Lesotho Electricity Corporation (LEC).

He said the meeting will be based on the inception report and will facilitate the way forward. He added that the rehabilitation of Hlotse urban roads is one of the major needs of the public which is expected to improve lives and the economical growth of the district.

Road Fund has sponsored the road design together with supervision of its construction at the tune of over M2.2million.
