Baffoe and Associates(PTY)LTD donated equipment amounting to M10,000 to  the Department of Dermatology at Queen II hospital on Monday.

Handing over the donation, the Managing Director of the company Dr Frank Baffoe said the donation signifies the company's social responsibility in assisting the increased numbers of patients who will be attended at the hospital through improved and advanced telemedicine services.

He expressed hope that the company will futher assist the hospital in  other areas where there is a need.
The equipment include a computer installed with an internet, a telephone line and a printer.

In accepting the donation, the Assistant Dermatologist of the hospital Mrs Limakatso Liphoto said her department will use the equipment for telemedicine purposes, saying the equipment is so modern that even the patient's picture will be send to a medical experts anywhere in the world.

 She said this will be done if the department is unable to solve the  patients illness, and then medical expertise can be sought in different  parts of the world.
