--- The judge of the High Court, Judge Ts'eliso Monaphathi, says it is evident from 250 counts covered under period of review, from 1999 to 2000, that the first accused in a case of theft of money belonging to Gateway Filling Station, benefited considerably.

Judge Monaphathi was analyzing evidence in a case in which Litsietsi 'M'amojalefa Mokolokolo, and her husband Thabiso Mokolokolo, are accused of stealing M476,069.00 belonging to Gateway Filling Station.

He indicated that evidence shows that Litsietsi created a fourth shift, during which she allegedly carried out illegal activities, and accumulated large amounts of monies for herself.

Judge Monaphathi said evidence shows that, the accused used to come earlier than the official time of starting work, or started work later than she was expected. He said during that time, she used to do illegal activities, that she did not record.
