Mafeteng --Over three thousand people will benefit from water currently  being built in four villages of Makopela, Qotata, Makitiring and Kolo Ha Mofolo. District Rural Water Supply Manager Mr. Khojane Makhetha, said the projects started early October are expected to be completed next month.

The projects are meant to being water security to rural communities and  safeguard them from drinking dirty water from unprotected wells and boreholes.

The projects have been funded by the Government of Lesotho in collaboration with the Development Corporation of Ireland at a cost of M1million. Similar projects have been built in Matholeng, Ribaneng,  Matelile, Motsemocha and Van Rooyen.
