World Economic Forum Discusses African Economic, Social Challenges
  The Prime Minister Mr Pakalitha Mosisili is Cape Town, for the 15th African economic summit being held in the at will be held in the South African city over three days beginning on June 1.

The summit aims at bringing together governments, businesses, international organizations, civil society and African and global experts to identify and debate the economic and social challenges facing Africa, according to a statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

It  will review progress made in support of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) and the African Peer Review Mechanism. The World Economic Forum meeting will also focus on the recent Commission for Africa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that the Government of Lesotho and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) are expected to sign an interim compact of the millennium account in Cape Town in the margins of this 15th summit.

Over the three-day meeting, more than 660 participants from 42 African countries will gather to call for a stronger voice for business in the flow of targeted aid investment in the African continent.

Lesotho's delegation also includes the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Finance, Mr Monyane Moleleki and Dr Timothy Thahane.
