| Veterans Tournament Over Easter | |
| The
Lesotho Lawn Tennis Association (LLTA) has organised a three-day veterans
tennis tournament on Good Friday, March 25, at the national tennis courts in
Maseru. Tournament director Mphalane Nots'i said the tournament aims at promoting the sport amongst both men and women aged 35 and over as well as to prepare them for international veterans' tournaments. Nots'i urged former tennis players, those who would like to play tennis as well as those still engaged in the sport to register at M80 that include meals for the duration of the competition sponsored by Hansa Pilsener. Winners will be presented with tennis equipment such as rackets, shoes, as well as trophies and medals. Hansa Pilsener is a brand name among products of the Maluti Mountain Brewery which has been sponsoring this annual tournament for the last five years. This year's sponsorship is M11 000. 24 March 2005 |
