	Ha Souru Bridge Will be Completed End of April
	Construction of the Ha Souru bridge in the Berea district is expected to be completed by the end of April, principal roads engineer in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Mr Mochekoane Ramashamole has announced. In a press statement on March 22, Mr Ramashamole said a joint venture by the SM Consulting and Cork Consolidated Holding (Pty) Ltd both local construction companies, are carrying the construction work. Mr Ramashamole said since the collapse of the bridge on January 17, several surveys were carried out to find out what went wrong and what could be done to avoid the same mishap in the future. Construction had been delayed because the bridge collapsed just before the end of the financial year and that work could only start with the beginning of the new year. Work is expected to begin during the Easter holiday. 24 March 2005
