Raswoko Retains LNLVIP Presidency
 

President of the Lesotho National League of the Visually Impaired Persons (LNLVIP) Mr. Jobo Raswoko has retained his seat after elections held during the August 13 to 14 weekend.

LNLVIP Publicity Secretary Melato Khetsi said in an interview with LENA, that the elections were overseen by donors from Norway and members of the African Union of the Blind.

Director of International Affairs of the Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted, Terjea Iversn, urged the local association to resolve conflicts amicably and this was accepted by the membership as, tense though the meeting was, they were able to elect an executive capable of leading the League towards its goals and ideals, Mr. Khetsi said. 

The new executive includes Mrs. ‘M’abataung Khetsi as vice president; Advocate Refiloe Masemene as secretary general and Mrs. 'Mamokete Sebatana as his assistant; Mr. Melato Khetsi, Publicity secretary and Ms 'Mapitso Mosito is his deputy.

Messrs Clement Thaathe, Kamohelo Mathibeli and Themba Molikoe are the other members of the committee.
