Pension Pay Point Attacked
  The Motsekuoa post office was on February 1 robbed of M80 000 in the first incidence in which a pension pay point has come under attack.

According to police, two of the five men  involved arrived at the post office claiming that they needed assistance to post letters overseas. While the workers were busy trying to assist them, three other men with guns got into the post office and demanded the money, according police spokesperson, Superintendent Mpota Nthako.

Superintendent Nthako said about M87.000 in pensioners and former World War veterans grants had been delivered at the post office the day before. The post office manager was injured but after receiving hospital treatment, was released, he said.

Police investigations into the matter are continuing.
