Parliament to Interest Public in its Affairs

The parliamentary reforms committee is to meet with Members of Parliament in Thaba-Tseka on September 9 where MPs are to be briefed on developments within the parliamentary reforms programme since its official launch in November last year, according to PRC administrator Ms Lineo Nketu.

Discussions will focus on a public outreach programme, which focuses on how best Parliament can get in touch with the people, to talk about parliament related issues.

Parliament intends holding about two weeks of public gatherings, starting from September 19, to solicit public views regarding the enhancement of the Parliamentary Reforms Programme, Ms Nketu said.
