A statement issued by the Chamber on March 18 announced that Mr Fako Hakane has been elected deputy president with Mrs 'Mammako Molapo as treasurer. They will be joined by seven other vice presidents.

The seven, who are yet to be allocated portfolios and responsibilities,  are Messers Kefumane Taka, Ntaote Seboka, Mafeka Mpapa, Nkareng Masike; Thamile Mokhothu and; Mrs Ntsamaeng Mokete and Mrs Thabile Qomana.

The management committee committee faces many challenges that include transforming and building up membership of the Chamber throughout the country a well as intensifying provision of support services to the members, the statement said.

It will lead the Chamber and manage its affairs for a two year period.
