New Look COSAFA Castle Cup Kicks off February 27
The Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Castle Cup has been reorganised and divided into two groups playing in a tournament at one venue. The defending champions only enter the Cup in the last stages.

Likuena team manager Thabo Pule told the Lesotho News Agency (LENA) in an interview that the draw to determine which team goes where will be decided by the latest Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) rankings. The first round group will however, play on February 27 at a venue still to be announced.

Angola are reigning champions in this 13 member regional tournament.

The senior national team will start official camp on February 6 although they have already started training twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Pule said.

The team will be reinforced by four players promoted from the under 20 national side Makoanyane XI: Dlomo Monaphathi, Bokang Mothoana, Motlalepula Mofolo with Lioli goalkeeper Isaiah Mosala being roped in to bolster the goal keeping department.

The team manager announced that there were plans to organise international friendly matches against either Zimbabwe, Mozambique or Namibia on February 09 and 16 respectively.
