New Envoys Announced
 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the appointment of new ambassadors to Belgium, Ethiopia and the United Kingdom.

Mrs. 'M'amoruti Tiheli, currently Director of primary health Care in the Ministry of health and Social Welfare, has been appointed ambassador to Belgium. Mr. Motlatsi Ramafole, Principal secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is to be the new ambassador to Ethiopia. Morena Seeiso Bereng Seeiso, Principal Chief of Matsieng and younger brother to King Letsie III, takes up the new post of ambassador to the United Kingdom.

The Ministry also announced that the Government of Lesotho has decided to reopen the Lesotho mission in Canada, closed down in 1998.

The new envoy will replace Ms. Lebohang Ramohlanka, who was representative to the UK and who has since been appointed the new Mafeteng District Administrator;; Mr. Mosuhla Leteka who has returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. 'Mathato Matlanyane who is ending her tour in Belgium.
