Ms 'Mamoruti Tiheli has been commissioned as Lesotho's new Ambassador to Belgium in a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Maseru on October 6.

King Letsie III said the Government of Lesotho has charged Ms. 'Mamoruti Tiheli to serve Basotho with loyalty, honour and dignity. He wished her success in her new assignment and expressed the hope that she will find her tour of duty both fulfilling and pleasant.

It is the government's desire to maintain and strengthen the good relations that exist between the country of Lesotho and Belgium.

In her turn, the new ambassador said she accepted the charge of representing Lesotho in Belgium. She will endeavour to discharge the duties with which she has been entrusted with dedication and devotion, she said.

She would remain aware of the aspirations, plans, and priorities of the government of Lesotho, in the development of the prosperity and well being of the people of Lesotho.
