Motholo Ambassador Designate to Libyan Arab Jamahiriya
 

King Letsie III has commissioned Mr Paul Khoashane Motholo as the Ambassador designate of Lesotho to the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

Announcing the appointment on February 3, 2005, the King said he was confident Ambassador Mr Motholo will be able to discharge his mission in a meritorious manner that will meet with the approval of Colonel Muammar Al-Gaddafi and prove himself worthy of the confidence the country has placed in him.

Mr Motholo was expected to serve the government and the people of Lesotho with loyalty, honour and dignity in his capacity as ambassador, the King said.

In his turn, Mr Motholo promised to remain aware of the aspirations, plans and priorities of the  government in the development of the prosperity and well being of the people of Lesotho and in its desire to strengthen the bonds of friendship with other countries of the world, especially Libya to which he was being accredited.

He would endeavour to discharge the duties with which he had been entrusted by the King's government with dedication and devotion.
