More Hurricanes Expected from October
 

The Lesotho Meteorological Services has predicted a repeat of the heavy storms that buffeted the country earlier this month. The storms are forecast to start from October.

Meteorologist Mr. Limemane Peshoane, said satellite pictures show possibility of the whole of Southern Africa experiencing heavy storms, which may in the form of a cyclone, a phenomenon not familiar to Lesotho. This possibility can be expected until December.

It is difficult to predict where the storms will start as the satellite images only show that Southern Africa will be affected. 

Heavy storms accompanied by hail destroyed houses in several parts of Maseru on September 7.
