Malumeng Children to Get US Churches Assistance
Four United States churches have committed themselves to sponsoring the education of some 900 children in the Malumeng, Mafeteng,  Area Development Project (ADP).

A delegation of seven pastors from the Assemblies, Baptist, Community and Lutheran churches from Colt City in California, were in the country as visitors of  World Vision Lesotho, offering prayers for HIV and AIDS infected people, orphans and vulnerable children. Their mission also included assessing the poverty situation in the rural areas of the country

'This trip enabled us to see the situation in the rural areas, it was a great experience and it was very touchy," Pastor Tim Stephenson, speaking on the delegation's behalf, said.

The delegation was accompanied by World Vision US church relations representative, Ms Ruth Notengham.
