Majantja Striker in National Squad

The stranglehold that Maseru premiership clubs had over the national soccer squad has been broken with the calling into the team, of  Mohale's Hoek based premiership club Majantja
striker Neo Tlali. He will feature in the international friendly against Namibia set for Setsoto Stadium on March 19.

In an interview, Likuena's assistant coach, Motheo Mohapi said Tlali is likely to add firepower to the frontline, where the team has been lacking for some time. Here he will partner players such as the speedy Lioli striker Paballo Mpakanyane and Lesotho Correctional Service's (LSC) Makalo Mehlala.

Mohapi promised supporters that they would see LCS's first choice goalkeeper Thabo Khoboli back in action after many senior players were left out by national coach Tony Hey in his 'rebuilding process'. Khoboli would replace Matlama goalkeeper Lekunutu Ts'oeunyane.

Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) Administrative Secretary, Sello Lesita said the Namibians were expected in the country on March 17.

Likuena plays Uganda in a midweek international friendly at Setsoto stadium three day later as part of the team's preparations for the COSAFA Castle cup to be played in Lusaka, Zambia. Likuena plays against Malawi with the host country facing Swaziland.
