'We are currently trying to build a formidable senior national team and an invitation of this nature come in handy for us. There is no way we could turn it down.' These sort of games also allowed the coaching staff to try young and new players since the local side will have just come out of the Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Castle Cup quarter finals being played in Zambia during the June 11 weekend. Likuena leave for Lusaka, Zambia on June 8 where they are to face Malawi on the Saturday in the opening game of the day while the host country Zambia will entertain Swaziland in the second match at the same venue. The winners in each match will meet in the finals on Sunday to determine the overall winner of the group and will join South Africa, Zimbabwe as well as last year's champions Angola in the next round of the competition in August this year.
