| Lesotho, SA Sign Science Pact | |

Lesotho and South Africa have signed an agreement to cooperate in science
and technology. Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, Mr.
Motsoahae Thomas Thabane and his counterpart, Science and Technology
Minister Mosibudi Mangena signed the agreement in Pretoria on June 6.
The agreement allows for cooperation in biotechnology, food, recycling and the creation of a database on indigenous knowledge. The two countries will share data relating to poverty and wealth creation at the community level. 08 June 2005 |
