Lesotho at Libreville Summit on Peace and Stability
  The Prime Minister, Mr Pakalitha Mosisili is at the head of a five member delegation to a two-day Summit on Peace and Stability Council of the African Union (AU) which started in Libreville, Gabon, on January 10.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the summit will discuss issues relating to conflict areas in the African continent, including the situation on cote d'Ivoire; the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and relations between the DRC and Rwanda and; the situation in Darfur region of the Sudan.

Also in the delegation are the Minister of foreign Affairs, Mr Monyane Moleleki; Principal Secretary, Mr Motlatsi Ramafole; Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mrs M Seitlheko and; the Director of Political Affairs in the Ministry, Mr P Makhetha. They will be joined by the ambassador of Lesotho to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Mr M Leteka.

The Peace and Security Council is made up of fifteen member states of the African Union.. Lesotho, with South Africa and Mozambique, represent the Southern African region.
