| Draft Lesotho Information Technology (IT) Bill | |

The Ministry has prepared in
cooperation with an expert counsel the Draft Lesotho Information Technology
(IT) Bill and other associated legislation enabling and supporting the
implementation of the Lesotho ICT Policy. The Ministry hereby invites
comments from the public on the Draft IT Bill. Please identify clearly the
specific provisions of the proposed draft Lesotho IT Bill that you are
commenting on. Where appropriate you are encouraged to suggest changes to
the proposed provisions. The proposals should be accompanied by reasons for
the changes. All comments should be submitted in writing, in both hard and soft copies. The submissions must reach the ICT Department by 15th January 2006. Please include your personal/company particulars as well as the correspondence address in your submissions. Submissions should be addressed to the Director ict@mcst.gov.ls . The Ministry reserves the right to make public all or parts of any written submissions made in response to this consultation paper and to disclose the identity of the source. Any part of the submission, which is considered commercially confidential, should be clearly marked and placed as a separate annex. The Ministry will take this into consideration when disclosing the information submitted. |
